The Antihero Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk High Releases Holiday 2024

Antihero Skateboards, a brand renowned for its raw and rebellious spirit, has been a cornerstone of skate culture since its inception by Julien Stranger in 1995. Known for their gritty designs and iconic skate decks, Antihero has a storied history within the skateboarding community. This year, the brand is teaming up with Nike SB for their second collaborative effort, following the success of their 2018 release, which featured a Nike SB Dunk High and Zoom GT Blazer Low. Now, the duo revisits the Nike SB Dunk High silhouette.

Antihero Skateboards’ newest Nike SB Dunk High features a distinctive blend of materials and textures that embody the brand’s rebellious ethos. The upper is constructed with cracked leather detailing on the toebox, eyestays, and collar, giving the sneaker a well-worn, battle-tested appearance. This design is complemented by premium tumbled leather on the heel and collar overlay and a suede midfoot panel, adding layers of texture and depth to the design. The Swoosh is crafted from more tumbled leather, enhancing the luxurious feel of the sneaker.

The fat rope laces, running up a canvas tongue, rest beneath a redesigned tongue label that features Antihero branding. Antihero’s signature flair is also evident on the heel, featuring a debossed logo. At the same time, the custom insole showcases a “worn-in” aesthetic with split branding between Nike SB and Antihero Skateboards. The phrase Stay Ready is inscribed on the Zoom Air unit beneath the insole, encapsulating the spirit of the collaboration. The look is rounded with a clean white midsole and a contrasting black rubber outsole.

The Antihero Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk High will release in Holiday 2024 through Antihero Skateboards, Nike SNKRS, and select Nike SB-affiliated retailers online and in-store.
