Jae Tips has quickly become one of the most innovative collaborators in the sneaker industry, even with just two projects. After making waves with his work on the Saucony Grid Azura 2000 and Grid Shadow 2, Jae Tips continues to impress with his creative designs. This year, he’s been teasing fans with a ProGrid Omni 9 project, and following the reveal of a two-pack of Saucony Matrix colorways, another exciting colorway of his ProGrid Omni 9 has been announced.
Jae Tips’ latest Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 colorway presents a fresh take on the popular silhouette with a unique blend of materials and colors. This version features a ripstop material on the midfoot, complemented by tan mesh on the toe and collar, for a lightweight and breathable feel. Red and pink hues on the toebox overlays, eyestays, and around the heel further accentuate the design.
The Saucony logo stands out in a dark red finish, trimmed with blue shades, adding a vibrant contrast to the overall design. The tongue showcases a mix of blue and gold, while the lateral heel features additional red and blue accents with SAVIOR branding prominently placed. The look is completed with a tan, blue, and pink foam midsole paired with a tonal outsole, offering both style and comfort.
The Jae Tips x Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Tan will release in August 2024 through Jae Tips’ website, Saucony, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $180. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
