Anthony Edwards‘ debut signature sneaker with adidas will arguably end up at the top of the Sneaker of the Year list, with many in the online sneaker community giving the AE 1 this praise. Since its debut in December 2023, we’ve seen multiple inline variants and a new low-top iteration, with the model also appearing in PE colorways for Ant-Man and others associated with adidas Basketball. Now, Sole Retriever can confirm that the 3SSB PE colorway that was given to select adidas athletes who attended the 3Stripe Select Basketball circuit will be reworked and brought to a low-top variant to celebrate the city of Atlanta in 2025 for 404 Day.

The adidas AE 1 Low PE features a Primeblue upper, showcasing a multi-color pastel tie-dye pattern that delivers a vibrant yet soft aesthetic. The sneaker’s standout design element is the pastel pink TPU honeycomb support wing, which also incorporates a subtle tie-dye effect, blending effortlessly with the upper’s design. Complementing the pink accents is a tonal heel counter in a matching hue, while the signature Three Stripes branding on the midfoot is done in crisp white, adding a clean contrast. Underfoot, the sneaker sits atop a Lightboost midsole, ensuring optimal cushioning and energy return, finished off with a tonal rubber outsole that keeps the look cohesive.

The adidas AE 1 Low PE to Retail will release on April 4, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
