The Air Jordan 39 era is officially upon us. Debuting in July 2024 with the Sol edition, Jordan Brand has a ton of AJ 39 colorways set to release from now, well into 2025. A few days removed from the initial AJ 39 release, the second colorway is already on deck, Lumiere.
With Paris hosting the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, Nike and Jordan Brand drew inspiration for various silhouettes and colorways in homage. Directly inspired by Paris, the City of Light, the Air Jordan 39 Lumiere comes in a clean black and sail colorway. The sneaker is covered entirely in all-black, a direct nod to Parisian lights and the city’s nighttime skyline. Subtle hits of sail, seen via the Jumpman logo on the tongue and portions of the midsole, help to break up the dark tones felt throughout this pair. An extra set of white laces is also included if you want to make the sneaker pop even more.
The Air Jordan 39 Lumiere is set to release on July 27, 2024, at Nike and select Jordan retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $200.
