Even though Nike began to tease us with new releases of the Air Max Sunder in 2023, The Swoosh has only recently started its rollout of the model after nearly two decades in the vault. The final of the four initial colorways will launch next week, the Black Silver rendition, while multiple other options have emerged for the upcoming Holiday season. Now, thanks to size?, we have looks at a pair set to drop next month: Dark Pony Baltic Blue.
Immediately, you notice the contrasting gradient pattern applied to the mesh base of this Sunder. A vibrant baltic blue shade begins around the toe, transitions into a lighter shade towards the midfoot, and eventually morphs into the dark pony shade across most of the upper. This burgundy-esque hue lands on the zipper shroud and leather panel along the upper, while burgundy itself is found on the TPU panels of the upper and via the sockliner. Nike branding details pop in baltic blue on the vamp, collar, and below the lace shroud with a Swoosh and 6, 4, 5, and 3 nodding to how you spell Nike on a keypad. Underfoot sits a brown foam midsole with blue Air units visible in the forefoot and heel paired with a black and blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max Sunder Dark Pony Baltic Blue W will release in October 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
