Across the upper, the titular platinum violet hue lands alongside purple-based shades like light violet ore and dark raisin. Deeper purples hit the synthetic leather on the mudguard and the tongue, sockliner, Swoosh, and TPU heel counter, while a lighter violet shade takes over the mesh base. Synthetic leather in a similar shade to the mesh base is applied to the toe, vamp, and heel sections. Team Gold provides a break from the purple hues, lining the Swoosh and running down the spine of the tongue. Underfoot, the Vomero 5’s Zoom Air and Cushlon-cushioned midsole takes on a sail and light purple finish paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
